About the Job
Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret prescriptions from doctors to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.

Prepare and dispense medications according to established standards.

Monitor patient drug therapies and identify potential interactions, side effects, or contraindications.

Provide counseling and education to patients regarding proper medication usage, dosage, storage, and side effects.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records.

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and hospital policies related to pharmacy operations.

Manage inventory of medicines and other medical supplies, including ordering and stock control.

Conduct regular audits to check for expired or near-expiry medicines and arrange for proper disposal.

Stay updated with new drugs, treatment protocols, and pharmaceutical best practices.
Qualification: B.Pharm or D.Pharm
