We are seeking qualified and motivated Pharmacists to join our hospital pharmacy team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining inventory, and providing patient-focused pharmaceutical care.
Dispense prescribed medications accurately and counsel patients on dosage and usage
Verify prescription details, identify potential drug interactions, and report discrepancies
Ensure availability of stock and assist in inventory control, procurement, and expiry management
Maintain proper storage of medicines and compliance with cold chain protocols
Enter and update patient data in pharmacy software or EMR system
Assist in preparation of unit dose and compounding as per physician orders
Educate patients and caregivers on medication use, adverse effects, and storage
Comply with hospital and pharmacy policies, regulatory norms, and documentation standards
Coordinate with doctors and nurses to ensure timely medication delivery
Support pharmacy audits and quality assurance activities
Sound knowledge of pharmacology, drug formulations, and therapeutic uses
Accuracy in medication dispensing and record-keeping
Good communication and patient counseling skills
Basic computer proficiency (e.g., pharmacy software, EMR systems)
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and inventory protocols
Attention to detail and high level of integrity
Qualification: D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution
Registration: Must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council
Experience: 0–1 year (internship or hospital training preferred)
