Compassionate Care for Every Stage of Life
We are looking for a compassionate and attentive Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support patients with their daily care needs and assist nursing staff in delivering high-quality care. This role is essential in ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and safety during their hospital stay.
Assist patients with basic activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Support patients with mobility: turning in bed, transferring, and walking with assistance
Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP, respiration) as directed
Change bed linens, maintain cleanliness of the patient’s environment
Assist in transporting patients to different departments (e.g., diagnostics, OT)
Help in serving meals and ensuring patients receive their diet as per instructions
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nurse or supervisor
Support nurses during procedures by preparing and arranging supplies
Comply with infection control, patient safety, and hospital hygiene protocols
Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families
Caring and empathetic attitude
Basic patient handling and hygiene care skills
Ability to follow instructions and hospital routines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and ability to lift or assist patients safely
Respect for patient privacy and hospital protocols
Willingness to work in shifts and handle sensitive situations professionally
Qualification: 10th / 12th pass with Certificate in Patient Care / General Duty Assistant (GDA) / Nursing Assistant course
Experience: 0–1 year (Hospital internship or training acceptable)
Preferred: Basic life support (BLS) or CPR training
