We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Embryologist to join our IVF/ART team. The ideal candidate will assist in handling gametes and embryos, support laboratory procedures, and ensure adherence to high standards of lab quality and patient safety in fertility treatments.
Assist in the preparation, identification, and handling of oocytes, sperm, and embryos
Support senior embryologists during IVF, ICSI, embryo grading, and embryo transfer procedures
Perform basic laboratory tasks such as semen analysis, sperm preparation, media preparation, and sterilization of instruments
Maintain accurate documentation for every procedure and patient case
Monitor incubators, lab equipment, temperature logs, and CO₂ levels
Ensure adherence to cleanroom protocols and aseptic handling standards
Follow protocols for cryopreservation and thawing of gametes/embryos under supervision
Participate in quality assurance and lab audits
Maintain patient confidentiality and lab safety at all times
Assist with inventory management and laboratory housekeeping duties
Fundamental understanding of human reproductive biology and embryology
Familiarity with ART/IVF lab techniques (e.g., semen preparation, oocyte identification, embryo grading)
Attention to detail and adherence to lab protocols
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work flexible hours depending on procedure schedules
Commitment to ethics, quality, and patient-centered care
Qualification: M.Sc. in Clinical Embryology / Reproductive Biology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences from a recognized university
Experience: 0–1 year (Internship or hands-on lab training in an IVF center will be considered)
Certification (if applicable): Any recognized ART/Embryology training is an added advantage
