We are looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious Electrician to join our hospital’s maintenance team. The candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and ensure uninterrupted power supply across the facility while adhering to all safety standards.
Perform basic electrical maintenance, including wiring, circuit repair, and equipment servicing
Assist in the installation and maintenance of lights, fans, switches, sockets, and other hospital electrical systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults under supervision
Monitor electrical panels, UPS systems, and backup power supplies (e.g., generators, inverters)
Ensure compliance with safety protocols while working with electrical systems
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hospital departments
Maintain records of routine checks and maintenance activities
Support senior technicians during preventive maintenance and major repairs
Ensure proper functioning of medical and non-medical electrical equipment (in coordination with biomedical teams)
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in clean and safe condition
Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring
Ability to read simple electrical schematics and handle tools safely
Problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn on the job
Good communication and team coordination skills
Awareness of safety practices and risk management in hospital environments
Physically fit and able to work on ladders, confined spaces, and emergency situations
Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Electrical or equivalent certification
Experience: 0–1 year (Apprenticeship or internship experience will be considered)
Licensing: Holding an Electrical Work Permit / License (if required by local authority) is an advantage
