We are looking for a committed and responsible Duty Medical Officer (DMO) to provide round-the-clock medical coverage and emergency care to patients. The DMO will assist in managing inpatient and outpatient cases, support consultants, and ensure timely clinical documentation and response.
Provide initial assessment and treatment for patients in wards, ER, or ICU
Attend to medical emergencies and stabilize patients as per protocols
Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, and patient reviews
Monitor vital signs and clinical status of patients regularly
Update case sheets, treatment orders, progress notes, and discharge summaries
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
Ensure proper handover between shifts to maintain continuity of care
Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxygen therapy as per doctor’s orders
Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols
Escalate critical cases and abnormal findings to consultants promptly
Coordinate with diagnostics, nursing, and pharmacy for patient care needs
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to manage routine and emergency situations
Good communication and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with night and weekend duties
Professional, ethical, and patient-centered approach
Basic familiarity with hospital software (EMR/HIS)
Willingness to learn and adapt to hospital standards and policies
Qualification: MBBS from a recognized university
Registration: Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council
Experience: 0–1 year (Internship or house surgeon experience is acceptable)
Certifications (Preferred): BLS / ACLS / ATLS
