We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented CSSD Technician to join our sterilization team. The technician will assist in cleaning, sterilizing, packing, and distributing surgical instruments and medical supplies across departments, ensuring infection control and patient safety standards are strictly followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive used instruments and equipment from OTs, ICUs, and wards

• Clean and disinfect reusable instruments using manual or automated processes

• Pack and label sterile sets according to standard protocols

• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment (ETO, plasma, etc.) under supervision

• Store and supply sterile items to various clinical units as per request

• Maintain clean and sterile zones separately and follow aseptic techniques

• Conduct basic quality checks such as chemical indicators for sterilization cycles

• Support inventory management and log maintenance

• Follow biomedical waste disposal guidelines and safety norms

• Report damaged instruments or equipment issues to supervisors promptly

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Basic understanding of sterilization processes and infection control

• Good physical stamina and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions precisely

• Familiarity with surgical instrument names and usage (preferred but not mandatory)

• Team spirit and readiness to work in high-demand hospital environments

• Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in sterile areas

• Basic record-keeping and documentation skills

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification:

• Diploma in CSSD Technology / OT Technology / Sterilization Techniques OR

• Any Life Sciences degree with relevant hospital training or internship

• Experience: 0–1 year (Hospital internship or training in CSSD is acceptable)
