We are seeking a qualified and committed Consultant Cardiologist with 2–5 years of clinical experience to join our Cardiology team. The consultant will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cardiovascular conditions, providing both inpatient and outpatient care, and supporting preventive and interventional cardiology services.
Evaluate and manage patients with cardiac diseases such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular disorders, etc.
Conduct outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and emergency cardiac evaluations
Interpret ECGs, ECHOs, TMTs, Holter, and cardiac imaging tests
Perform and assist in non-invasive and invasive cardiology procedures (as applicable)
Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care
Participate in Cath Lab procedures (angiography, angioplasty, device implantation, etc.), depending on experience and scope
Provide pre- and post-operative cardiac care and counseling
Maintain detailed patient documentation and electronic medical records (EMR)
Ensure adherence to evidence-based protocols, hospital policies, and NABH/JCI standards
Educate patients and families about cardiac risk factors, lifestyle modifications, and medication compliance
Contribute to academic programs, CMEs, and departmental case discussions
Sound clinical knowledge in general and interventional cardiology (as per experience)
Excellent diagnostic, decision-making, and procedural skills
Strong communication skills with a patient-centric approach
Ability to manage cardiac emergencies and ICU care
Commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and ethical practice
Familiarity with HIS, EMR systems, and modern diagnostic tools
Qualification: DM / DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institute (MCI/NMC approved)
Experience: 2–5 years post-super specialty qualification (including fellowship or senior residency)
Registration: Valid registration with State Medical Council or NMC
Certifications (Preferred): BLS / ACLS / Advanced cardiac imaging or intervention training
