We are seeking a reliable and experienced Ambulance Driver to safely transport patients to and from healthcare facilities, ensuring timely and secure movement while maintaining professional conduct and vehicle readiness. The role requires a calm demeanor, quick decision-making, and adherence to all traffic and medical transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate ambulance vehicles during emergencies and non-emergency patient transfers.
• Ensure timely arrival at pick-up and drop-off locations.
• Assist paramedics or medical staff in loading/unloading patients as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, fuel, and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
• Keep daily log of trips, fuel usage, and maintenance records.
• Follow GPS and route instructions and adapt to traffic conditions.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and medical team during trips.
• Follow all traffic laws and hospital protocols strictly.

Qualifications

• Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License (Mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in healthcare or emergency services.
• Familiarity with local traffic laws and city routes.
• Basic understanding of emergency protocols and patient handling (preferred but not mandatory).
• Physically fit and able to assist with patient transport.
• Good communication skills and calm under pressure.

Preferred Attributes

• Previous experience as an ambulance driver or in a hospital/clinic setting.
• Basic first aid knowledge.
• Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
